Lucia Caminos

Lucia Caminos is one of the two protagonists of Grand Theft Auto VI, alongside Jason Duval. It's the first time since the 2D era that a woman has been one of the main heroes of a GTA game.

Who is Lucia Caminos?

Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk, and life has been coming at her swinging ever since. Fighting to take care of her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Getting out was mostly down to luck, and she learned her lesson: the smallest mistake can cost you dearly.

What drives her

More than anything, Lucia wants the good life her mother has dreamed of since they left Liberty City, the New York-inspired city longtime fans of the series know well. But she's not leaving anything to chance: Lucia is determined to take matters into her own hands. Fresh out of prison, she hasn't lost sight of her plan and says she's ready for anything. Teaming up with Jason in life could be the answer.

“The only thing that matters is who you know and what you got.”

Lucia in the trailers

GTA 6's first trailer (December 2023) opens on Lucia in prison garb at the Leonida Penitentiary. She then takes center stage in the second trailer (May 2025) and the launch trailer (October 15, 2026).

Her partnership with Jason

When an easy score goes wrong, Lucia and Jason end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida. Their survival depends on how much they can trust each other.
