GTA 6's original score, composed by French electronic duo Justice, now has a release date. An Apple Music listing spotted on October 28, 2026 shows Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score, a 50-track album due December 11, 2026, three weeks after the game launches. Rockstar Games has not officially announced the album yet.

The page was found on Apple Music's New Zealand storefront by a Reddit user before being picked up by Insider Gaming, GamingBible and Prima Games. It lists Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Justice as a pre-release: 50 tracks in total, with availability set for December 11, 2026.

The copyright line is a strong sign the listing is legitimate: the recordings belong to Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar's parent company, and are released under exclusive license to Ed Banger Records and Because Music, Justice's longtime labels. This isn't a fan-made page. Still, neither Rockstar nor Justice has said anything publicly about the album, and the date could change.

Which tracks do we already know?

Only two songs appear so far. The first is "Flower in a Hurricane," Justice's single featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, which plays over the launch trailer released on October 15. The second, "Pusher," is new and credited to Justice and French producer Gesaffelstein, according to Insider Gaming.

The other 48 tracks remain a mystery. The sheer number suggests the ambient and mission music written for the game, but nothing has been shared about what's actually on them.

How is it different from GTA VI: The Album?

These are two different records. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is a compilation of 34 original songs from artists like Travis Scott, Cardi B and Morgan Wallen, and it drops November 19 alongside the game. The Original Score collects the music Justice composed to drive the action itself, separate from the radio stations you'll hear while cruising the streets of Vice City.

Rockstar has always put real care into this side of its games. GTA V's original score was handled by several composers, including Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist and Oh No. For GTA 6, the studio went with a single act, and a French duo that's already legendary in electronic music.

Why release it after the game?

Rockstar hasn't explained the timing. Releasing the score a few weeks after launch could keep story-related music from being revealed too early while riding the momentum of the game's first weeks. December 11 also lands right in the middle of the holiday season. It remains to be seen whether the score will get physical editions, as The Album did on vinyl and CD.
