GTA 6: Rockstar Confirms Justice's Original Score for December 11, Drops "Pusher"

Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score hits all major music streaming services, CD and vinyl on December 11, 2026. That is a little over three weeks after the game itself, which launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Fans can already pre-save the album and pre-order physical copies, including a special limited Triple Crystal Clear vinyl.

The announcement confirms the date that surfaced a day earlier in an Apple Music pre-release listing. It also clears up the track count: that listing showed 50 tracks, while Rockstar says the album has 30 main tracks plus "a number of digital bonus tracks included across all formats." According to Consequence, the physical release comes as a double CD and a triple LP, released with Because Music and Ed Banger Records, Justice's longtime labels.

What is "Pusher," the new Justice and Gesaffelstein single?

Alongside the announcement, Rockstar released a brand-new track: "Pusher," by Justice featuring French producer Gesaffelstein. Out since October 29 on streaming platforms, the song runs about seven minutes. According to Consequence, it opens on a pounding bassline and siren-like synths before shifting midway into a more disco-flavored palette with rising strings.

"Pusher" joins "Flower in a Hurricane," Justice's collaboration with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard heard in the GTA 6 launch trailer released October 15. Both songs will appear on the album.

What does an "adaptive score" mean for GTA 6?

This is the part players will care about most. Rockstar says Justice built an adaptive score, with expansive compositions "dynamically tuned" to the different ways players engage with Vice City and Leonida throughout Jason and Lucia's story. In other words, the music won't simply loop in the background: it will react to what is happening on screen, whether that's a car chase, a stealthy approach or a quiet drive.

Dynamic music isn't new for Rockstar. In GTA V, the mission score, written by artists including Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist and Oh No, already ramped up with the action. But handing the whole score to a Grammy-winning electronic act of Justice's stature is a step up in scale. Speaking to Complex, Xavier de Rosnay said the duo were given "the freedom to explore as many things as we needed to, musically speaking."

How is it different from GTA VI: The Album?

There are two separate records. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album collects 34 original songs from artists such as Travis Scott, Cardi B and Morgan Wallen, and drops November 19, the same day as the game. The Original Score, on the other hand, gathers the music Justice composed to drive the action. On top of that come the licensed songs played on the game's radio stations.
